你想說「既然如此」是不是只會用 So？這也太單調了吧！So 雖然沒錯，但聽起來超像在敷衍，完全沒有邏輯層次感。其實「既然如此 英文」有超多更精準、更有質感的說法。今天就來教你 3 種超實用的表達方式，讓你的英文不再只會 So 來 So 去，說話更有邏輯、更有說服力！
In that case – 最常用的「既然如此、那麼」
In that case 是最常用、最自然的「既然如此」、「既然這樣」說法，意思就是「既然是這樣的話、那麼、在那種情況下」。這個片語用來回應對方剛說的情況，然後提出相應的結論或建議。
「In that case」 用法其實超簡單，它通常放在句首，後面接你的結論或建議。比起單純說 So，In that case 更有「根據你說的情況」的邏輯感，讓人覺得你有在認真思考對方說的話，不是隨便應付。
這個說法適合各種場合，不管是日常對話還是職場溝通都OK。它既不會太正式顯得拘謹，也不會太隨便顯得不專業，是個超萬用的表達方式。
重點是 In that case 帶有很明確的「因果關係」。對方說了一個情況（原因），你用 In that case 回應（結果），邏輯線很清楚，聽的人馬上知道你在回應他剛才說的事。這比單純說 So 有層次多了。

Now that – 強調「既然…就…」的因果關係
Now that 用來表達「既然某個條件成立了，那麼就…」的意思，強調時間點或狀態的改變帶來的結果。它的結構是：Now that + 原因句，結果句。
這個說法比較正式一點，常用在解釋原因和結果的關係。Now that 特別強調「現在」這個時間點，就是「既然現在情況是這樣，那麼…」的感覺。它跟 Since 很像，但 Now that 更強調「現在」、「此刻」的狀態。
Now that 適合用在狀況有所改變，需要根據新情況做調整的時候。比如某件事完成了、某個條件達成了、某個狀況改變了，然後你要說明接下來該怎麼做。
要注意的是，Now that 後面接的是完整的句子（主詞+動詞），不是只有名詞或片語。而且 Now that 通常放在句首，後面用逗號隔開。

Since / Seeing that – 書面正式版的「既然」
Since 和 Seeing that 都可以用來表達「既然、由於」的意思，用來說明因果關係。這兩個都比較正式，適合用在寫作、報告、或想展現邏輯性的時候。
Since 是最常用的，也最萬用。它既可以表示「既然」（因為某個原因），也可以表示「自從」（時間）。當它用來表示原因時，語氣比較客觀、比較理性，適合正式場合或書面英文。
Seeing that 比較口語一點，強調「看到/注意到某個事實」之後得出的結論。它帶有「既然你也看到了這個情況」的感覺，有點像在說「你也知道…，所以…」。
兩者都可以放在句首或句中。放句首時，後面通常會有逗號。它們的語氣都比 So 或 In that case 更正式、更有書面感。

That being said – 這不是「既然如此」！別搞混了
很多人以為 That being said 也是「既然如此」的意思，但其實完全不是！這個片語的真正意思是「話雖如此、雖然這樣、不過、儘管如此」，是用來轉折的，不是用來表達因果關係的。
That being said 用在你剛說完一件事，但現在要補充相反或不同角度的觀點。就像中文的「不過話說回來」、「雖然我這樣說，但是…」的感覺。它是轉折，不是因果。
為什麼容易搞混？可能是因為它的結構看起來有點像在總結或承接前面說的話。但記住：That being said 是用來「但是」，不是用來「所以」。
