想說「這個方法比較容易」，你會直接打 “This is more easily”，還是 “This is easier”？Easier 中文是「比較容易、比較簡單」，很多人都知道，但碰到 “He learns easier” 又完全沒意識到哪裡怪。其實 easy 比較級有兩種寫法，用哪個取決於你要修飾的是什麼——搞懂這個，以後就不用靠感覺猜了。
Easy 的比較級有兩種
Easy 是形容詞，它的比較級有形容詞版和副詞版：
Easier = easy 的形容詞比較級，easy 比較級的基本款
More easily = easily 的副詞比較級，修飾動作用
簡單記法：be 動詞後面接 easier，一般動詞後面接 more easily。
Easier 怎麼用
Easier 中文就是「比較容易、比較簡單」，但一定要記得它修飾的是名詞，或是接在 be 動詞（is / was / are / were）後面。

A: Which route do you recommend?
A: 你推薦哪條路線？
B: Take the highway. It’s easier and faster.
B: 走高速公路。比較輕鬆也比較快。

A: Should I learn Spanish or French first?
A: 我應該先學西班牙文還是法文？
B: Spanish is easier for most beginners because the pronunciation is more consistent.
B: 西班牙文對大多數初學者來說比較容易，因為發音比較一致。

A: 第二次考試跟第一次比怎麼樣？
B: Way easier. I actually had time to check my answers.
B: 簡單很多。我還有時間檢查答案。

A: I can’t decide between the two apartments.
A: 我在這兩間公寓之間決定不了。
B: The second one has an easier commute — it’s right next to the MRT.
B: 第二間通勤比較方便——就在捷運旁邊。（easier 修飾 commute 這個名詞）
More easily 怎麼用
More easily 是副詞，修飾動詞，說的是「做某個動作做起來比較容易」。注意它不是修飾「東西」，而是修飾「動作怎麼進行」。

B: I find I learn more easily when I’m actually using it in conversation.
B: 我發現在真正對話中使用的時候，我學得比較快、比較輕鬆。

B: I remember words more easily when I connect them to a story or image.
B: 把單字跟一個故事或畫面連在一起的時候，我記得比較牢。

B: Kids definitely adapt more easily. They don’t overthink it.
B: 小孩絕對適應得更快。他們不會想太多。
三個最常踩到的地雷
地雷 1：Be 動詞後面用 more easily
很多人搞清楚了 easier 中文的意思，卻在 be 動詞後面寫了 more easily，這是形容詞跟副詞搞混了。
不正確：This app is more easily than the old one.
正確：This app is easier than the old one.
這個 app 比舊的好用多了。

A: Is the new version better?
A: 新版本比較好嗎？
B: Much better. It’s easier to navigate and the interface is cleaner.
B: 好很多。比較好用，介面也比較簡潔。（is 後面要接形容詞 easier，不是 more easily）
地雷 2：一般動詞後面用 easier
Easier 是形容詞，不能修飾動詞。想說「他學得比較快」，主詞動詞是 he learns，後面要副詞 more easily。
不正確：She explained it easier this time.
正確：She explained it more easily this time.
她這次解釋得比較清楚。

A: Your presentation was much better today.
A: 你今天的簡報好很多。
B: Thanks. I spoke more easily because I had practiced more.
B: 謝謝，說起來比較順，因為我練習更多了。（spoke 是一般動詞，後面要用 more easily）
地雷 3：說 “More easier”——千萬不要
Easy 本來就是短音節形容詞，比較級直接加 -er 變 easier。再加一個 more，就變成雙重比較級，這在英文裡是嚴重的文法錯誤，比說錯還糟糕，等於說 “more more easy”。
不正確：This version is more easier to use.
正確：This version is easier to use.

A: Is this textbook good for beginners?
A: 這本教科書適合初學者嗎？
B: It’s one of the easier ones to follow — not too technical.
B: 這是比較好上手的其中一本——不會太難懂。（絕對不說 more easier）
口語裡有人說 “easier” 當副詞用，OK 嗎？
非正式口語裡確實有人說 “You can do it easier this way”，在技術上不標準，但母語人士日常對話偶爾會這樣說。
不過，如果你在寫作、考試、或是比較正式的場合，一定要用 more easily——永遠不會錯。不確定的時候，just go with more easily.

A: Just breathe easier and don’t overthink it.（口語，偶爾這樣說）
A: 放輕鬆，別想太多。（這裡的 easier 是口語化用法）

A: With practice, you’ll be able to do this more easily.（標準說法）
A: 多練習的話，你做起來會越來越順手。
記住一句話就夠了：be 動詞後接 easier，一般動詞後接 more easily，永遠不說 more easier。下次寫英文碰到這個情況，先想想後面是 be 動詞還是一般動詞，答案就出來了。
