還是像 information 一樣不可數,只能說 a lot of people?
Person(一個人):
People(很多人):
- Person
- 例:two people, many people, 100 people
Persons(很多人):
- Person
Missing persons, Authorized persons only
People 可數嗎?
- 可以用 how many 問:How many people?(不會說 how much people)
(1)
A: How many people are coming to the meeting?
B: About 15 people confirmed.
(2)
A: Is people countable or uncountable?
B: It’s countable. You just can’t say “one people”.
Person
- People = 不可數的人群(a lot of people)
(10 persons)

Q: People 可數嗎?
A: 可數。People 是 person 的複數形式,可以直接加數字(10 people)、用 how many 問、用 many / few 修飾,只是沒有「one people」這種單數用法,單數要用 person。
Persons?
Q: Persons
A: 只有在正式或法律語境才適合,例如 missing persons(失蹤人口)、authorized persons only(僅限授權人士)、persons under 18(18 歲以下人士)。
Q: People 可以加 s 變成 peoples 嗎?
