你有沒有碰過這種情況：跟外國人分享你的計畫，對方說 “Good luck with that”，你以為他在祝你好運，但看他的表情和聽他的語氣，總覺得怪怪的？恭喜你，你的直覺是對的！Good luck with that 意思其實常常不是真心祝福，而是帶著滿滿的諷刺和不看好。今天就來教你怎麼分辨真心祝福和酸民語氣！
真心的 Good luck — 單純祝福的時候
我們先講真心的用法，畢竟不是每個人都這麼壞心眼啦！
Good luck 本身是很正常的祝福語，祝你好運 英文最基本就是這個。用在考試前、面試前、比賽前，或任何需要運氣和努力的時候。語氣是真誠的、友善的、溫暖的，音調會微微上揚，讓人聽了很舒服。
你可以單純說 Good luck!，也可以更具體一點說 Good luck with your exam! 或 Good luck with your interview! 這些都是真心在為對方加油打氣。

諷刺版的 Good luck with that — 酸民上身
重點來了！Good luck with THAT 如果重音放在 that，而且語氣冷冷的、音調往下降，那就不是在祝福你，而是在酸你！
意思大概是「祝你好運囉（才怪）」、「你死定了」、「我不看好但隨便你」、「你自己去撞牆吧」這種感覺。通常是對方覺得你的計畫很蠢、不切實際、絕對會失敗，但他懶得跟你爭論，就丟一句 Good luck with that 表示「反正我警告過你了，你自己看著辦」。
什麼時候會用這個諷刺版？
- 你的想法超級不切實際，對方覺得你在做夢
- 對方知道你會失敗但不想直說

怎麼分辨？看這3個關鍵！
那到底要怎麼知道對方是真心還是在酸你呢？看這三個關鍵點：
- 關鍵1：有沒有 “with that” 單純 Good luck 通常是真心的。加了 with that 就要小心了，特別是如果 that 的音很重。
- 關鍵2：語氣和音調 真心祝福的音調是溫暖上揚的，聽起來很有活力。諷刺的音調是冷淡下降的，聽起來完全不在乎，甚至有點幸災樂禍。
- 關鍵3：表情和上下文 真心祝福會有微笑、眼神接觸、拍肩膀之類的。諷刺版可能會翻白眼、聳肩、轉身就走，或是講完就不想再跟你討論。
