朋友說「某某人分手了」，你心裡已經在想「早就知道了」— 「一點都不意外」英文當然不只有 I’m not surprised 一句。從隨口吐槽到職場正式場合，語氣不同，說法也完全不一樣。這篇整理了四大類說法，讓你以後表達「意料之中」的時候，語感更有層次。
最基本、最百搭
I’m not surprised 和 It’s not surprising 是最通用的兩種說法，語氣中性，不管是跟朋友聊天、在辦公室說話，還是寫 email 都可以放心用。
兩句的差別不大，但語感稍微不同：I’m not surprised 是在說「我個人不覺得意外」，強調說話者的感受；It’s not surprising 則是更客觀地說「這件事本身不讓人驚訝」，聽起來更不帶情緒一點。
不確定用哪句的話，選 I’m not surprised 就對了，這也是最常見的不意外英文說法，幾乎任何場合都適用。這兩句也可以加副詞來強調，例如 “I’m not surprised at all”（完全不意外）或是接補充說明 “I’m not surprised — this was bound to happen”（這遲早會發生的）。

早就看穿了
如果你想表達的不只是「不意外」，而是「我老早就看出來了」，那 I saw that coming 會比 I’m not surprised 更有力道。
I saw that coming = 我早就預料到了（強調主動預見，不是被動的「不驚訝」）
加強版是 I saw it coming a mile away，意思是「這根本超級明顯，老遠就看到了」，帶有一點誇張的口氣，很適合事後吐槽用。
No wonder 則帶有一點「恍然大悟」的感覺，像是「難怪嘛」、「怪不得」。No wonder 用法很簡單，後面直接接子句就好，例如 “No wonder he’s exhausted”（難怪他這麼累），不需要加 that 也完全沒問題。跟 I saw that coming 相比，No wonder 比較沒有「我早就知道了」的強烈語氣，更像是「說到這裡一切都說得通了」的感覺。
記住: No wonder 用法的時機：通常是在聽到某個原因或背景之後，你才說出 No wonder，因為那個資訊讓你「恍然大悟」。

懶得假裝、帶點白眼
有時候「不意外」不只是中性陳述，而是帶著一點「這有什麼好說的」的語氣。這幾個說法就是為這種時候設計的，記得只在熟人之間用，免得顯得失禮。
- It figures = 意料之中，帶點無奈或諷刺感，在北美英文裡很常見
- You don’t say = 字面是「你沒說吧」，實際語氣是「是嗎，真的假的」，是反諷說法
- Tell me something I don’t know = 說點我不知道的吧，意思是「這我早就知道了，完全不新鮮」
這幾句的語氣跟 Yeah, right 有點類似，都是表面上說一件事，實際上在傳達另一個意思。You don’t say 和 Tell me something I don’t know 帶的諷刺感尤其明顯，不熟的人聽到可能會覺得你在嗆他，所以場合要對。

職場版怎麼說
在正式場合，帶白眼的說法就不太適合出現了。以下幾個職場版說法，語氣中性又專業，在會議或 email 裡都適合用。
- That was to be expected = 這在意料之中，口語也適合，直接、簡潔，最常用
- This doesn’t come as a surprise = 這不讓人意外，語氣更完整，適合跟主管或客戶說
- As anticipated = 如預期，書面語，常出現在報告或正式 email 裡
補充一點：No wonder 用法本身偏口語，在比較輕鬆的職場環境（例如 Slack 訊息或內部開會）還是蠻常見的，但在正式 email 或簡報就建議換成上面這三句。
