在國外小店逛著逛著，結帳時突然看到牌子上寫著 “Cash only”——這個 cash only 意思你知道嗎？還沒反應過來，後面已經有人在排隊了。或是想問「你們可以刷卡嗎」，但英文就是卡在嘴邊說不出來。這篇把出國購物最常遇到的付款情境全部整理好，從問付款方式、說要現金或刷卡，到找零，一次全學會。
Cash only 是什麼？
Cash only 意思很直接——「只收現金」，不收信用卡、金融卡或行動支付。這個字你最常在市集攤位、小型獨立店家、路邊小吃攤看到，有時候會寫在收銀台旁邊，有時候是門口的小牌子。
知道這個字非常重要，因為很多人去國外旅遊都習慣全程刷卡，突然遇到 cash only 的店又不知道怎麼回應，超尷尬。去國外旅遊記得帶一些現金在身上，遇到這種情況也不會措手不及。

刷卡怎麼問、怎麼說
進店前不確定能不能刷卡，可以直接開口問。「可以刷卡嗎英文」最道地的說法是 “Do you take credit cards?” 或 “Do you accept cards?”，語氣自然又禮貌。確認可以刷卡之後，結帳時說要刷卡就更簡單了，”Card, please.” 或 “I’ll pay by card.” 短短一句搞定。
這種情境跟在國外很多地方都會遇到，就像問廁所在哪、借充電一樣，幾句話就能解決問題，但說不出來就真的很卡。

知道「現金付款」英文怎麼說，在結帳的時候就可以很俐落地表達。最簡單的是 “I’ll pay in cash.” 或 “I’ll use cash.”，短短一句，清楚又直接。
